Description
2 19th Century Baby Quilts includes a c1880 Broken Dishes Baby Quilt measuring 35 by 36 inches. It is comprised of 81 blocks, 2.75 inches by 2.75 inches, set straight, 9 by 9, with a 5 inch off white border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied off white binding. It is in fair condition with overall toning, spots, storage line discoloration, and one fabric is deteriorating. Really nice small scale in this baby quilt. Along with a c1890 On Point 9 Patch Baby Quilt measuring 37 by 39 inches. It is comprised of 12 9 patch blocks, 5.5 by 5.5 inches, set on point, 3 by 4, with solid white alternating squares, setting triangles, and for 27 inch white border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back, applied by hand. It is in fair condition with overall toning, spots, and edge wear. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
