Description
1920s Dress and Coat. The lot includes a dress and coat from the 1920s. Featuring a black wool felt dress with a weighted drop waist, a V neckline with a modesty panel, long sleeves, and a fold over collar. As well as embroidered grape motifs in black silk twill ribbon. Laying flat the dress measures: Shoulders: 15”, Bust: 19”, Sleeve: 20”, Waist: 20”, Length: 45”. The dress is in good condition with fading to its stitching, and holes and toning to the tulle lining in the bodice. Also included is a 1920s black silk velvet coat by Louise Valliere with a round standing collar, ruched accents at the shoulders, and a cream colored silk lining. Laying flat it measures Shoulder: 14”, Bust: 22”, Sleeves: 23”, Waist 23”. The coat is in good condition with shattering to the silk lining especially at the neck and upper back areas, as well as missing closures at the collar.
