Description
1920s Embroidered Garment Bag and Black Lace Dress. The lot includes a 1920s apricot colored cotton garment bag featuring a printed and silk embroidered woman sitting in profile watching butterflies and the phrase ” To Keep The Dust And Dirt Away, Put Me Over Your Gown Each Day”. The bag has blue cotton piping and snap closures on the reverse. It measures 21” x 45” and is in fair condition with water marks, blue discolorations, and spots. Also included is a sleeveless 1920s black machine lace sheath dress with a drop waist. Laying flat it measures: Shoulders: 15”, Bust 15”, Waist” 16”, Length: 43”. The dress is in fair condition with small repairable holes at the shoulders and minor fraying to the neckline. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
