Description
Antique c1890 Log Cabin Summer Quilt measuring One by 82 inches. The blocks are set in a Barn Raising arrangement. It is comprised of 36 blocks, 13 by 13 inches, set straight, 6 by 6 with no batting and a red on white shirting print reverse. It is machine pieced on the reverse, as a foundation. There is no quilting, the stitching you see on the reverse is from the piecing. The edge is finished with an applied clarinet red print fabric, machine to front and hand to back. It is in good condition with a few discolorations. This quilt has some wonderful fabrics from this era. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
