Description
Antique c1880 Victorian Crazy Quilt Top measuring 62 by 73 inches. A true random and crazy patchwork arrangement, with no block organization. There are variety of silk, and velvet fabrics in a variety of colors, solids, and stripes. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand embroidered. Motifs include flowers, cross, tennis racket and more. Several generic names such as Mother, Father, Grandpa, Baby as well as initials and some names. The foundation is an off white cotton muslin. It is in fair condition with the expected shattering of some silks. There is no batting, backing, or edge finish, this is only a top. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
