Description
Vintage c1940 Grandmothers Flower Garden Quilt measuring 73 by 71 inches. Comprised of 195 flower rosettes with a print center, followed by a round of solid fabric, followed by a round of print fabric from the center. There is a garden path of solid tan and a yellow print fabric hexagon border. Each hexagon measures about 1/2 inch along one side. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a blue cotton reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by hand. It is in very good condition with no issues noted. Many feedsack and feedsack style prints were used in this quilt. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
