Description
Antique c1870 Art Square Quilt measuring 79 by 87 inches. It is comprised of 36 pieced blocks, 9.5 by 9.5 inches, set on point, 6 by 6, with an orange print alternating square, setting triangles, and 3.5″ border along 2 sides. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied pink print binding. It is in good condition with several small spots and variations in the off white ground in the pieced blocks. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
