Description
Vintage c1950 Marion Cheevers Whiteside Newton Bridal Story Quilt measuring 63×101 inches. Comprised of 18 blocks, measuring 16×16″, set straight, 3 by 6, with 9 applique story blocks, 9 alternate off white solid squares, There is a green print border 3-8″ wide. It is hand appliqued, machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is also hand embroidery, and applied lace embellishments on the veils. The blocks included are Elizabethan, Puritan, Gothic, Irish, Russian, Roman, Mohamedan, Aremenia, and First White Bride. Thin cotton batting and a bright floral print reverse. The quilt has a label from the Arizona Quilt Documentation Project. In good condition with a few small spots. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
