Description
Attic Windows Crib Quilt by Mary Schafer, 1984 or 1985. It measures 29.5×38″. Comprised of 24 blocks, 4.5×4.5′, set straight 4 by 6, with a 2″ light pink inner border, followed by a .5″ black print border, and a 3″ pink outer border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. This cotton batting, and an off white cotton reverse. Edge is finished with a pink applied binding, by hand. It is in very good condition. Sleeve applied to the top on the back for hanging. This quilt is from the Mary Schafer Collection. She was the quilter and collector from the book Mary Schafer – American Quilt Maker by Gwen Marston.
