Description
The hat has a wide brim and features crocheted straw in a fan pattern, shellacked for rigidity. It includes a round stand crown and a scalloped brim, paired with an acetate ribbon band in a green plaid pattern, complete with a bow. Labeled Patricia Fifth Avenue, it is in fair condition with areas of flaking shellac and slight misshaping due to storage. Previously part of a collection that rented to the entertainment industry. Restoration may have done but with period materials and skilled workmanship. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
