Description
Vintage 1940s Black Straw Hat featuring a boater profile with a high round crown and a medium wide brim. It is adorned with a layered black and brown grosgrain ribbon band and a double bow for decorative detail. The label reads Original Chapeaux Louise and includes an adjustable headband for proper fitting. The hat is in fair condition, showing some misshaping to the crown. Previously part of a collection that rented to the entertainment industry. Restoration may have done but with period materials and skilled workmanship. Please see the photos for details.
