Description
2 vintage Asian fans. One is a Japanese double-sided fan with a paper leaf decorated with hand-painted landscapes, flowers, birds, and metallic flecks in multiple shades. It has black lacquered guards painted with gourd accents, bamboo ribs, and a long double red tassel. Measures 20″ x 11.5″ and is in fair condition with discoloration lines on the folding points. The second is a sandalwood fan with stamped and cut ribs and guards featuring a dueling Phoenix and dragon design accented with wood-burned details. It includes an orange double tassel and comes in a glass-lidded brocade box. In good condition. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
