Description
Antique hand-colored paper folding fan featuring two-sided hand colored images of 18th century nobles courting and a large fountain on the reverse, bone guards and ribs are carved and pierced with silver and gold gilded accents, complemented by a gold-toned loop and a mother-of-pearl rivet. In fair condition the leaf shows wear along the folds, small tears, areas of repair with tape on the leaf and guards, and some discoloration to the bone ribs and guard. Measurements are 10 1/2 in x 19 in. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
