Description
Antique double-sided folding fan featuring hand-colored paper leaf. One side displays a detailed scene with figures, while the other has a floral motif. Constructed with pierced and carved bone guards and ribs, one of which includes a small oval mirror. Secured with a metal loop and mother-of-pearl rivet, it includes a silk tassel. Condition issues include a repair to a rib, wear on folds, and areas of cracked paper. Measures 10 1/2″ x 19 1/4″. Please see the photos for details.
