Description
This antique handmade lace folding fan features a leaf made of a mixture of several forms of lace such as point de rose and Chantilly elements. As well as creme colored mother of pearl guards and lower ribs with the upper portion of ribs crafted from carved bone. With a mother of pearl rivet and a decorative carved mother of pearl MK monogram with a crown riveted to a guard. It is in fair condition with one broken rib, a repair to the bottom of the guard,5 replaced ribs, a repaired rib, a small tear in the lace, and small spots and faint toning. Measures 10 1/2 x 19 1/2 in. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
