Description
Antique French paper folding fan featuring hand-colored scenes of 18th century pheasant and courtly life on both sides with printed gold tone trim. The ribs and guards are made of intricately carved/pierced bone with gold and silver tone gilding detail. The fan is in fair condition with wear to the fold junctions, slight discoloration/toning on the bone guard. A repair has been made to the front facing leaf with tape. Measures 10 1/2 in x 20 1/4 in when open. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $15 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
