Description
Antique 1915 9 Patch Quilt 68 by 75 inches. It is comprised of 30 blocks, 7.5 by 7.5 inches, set straight, 5 by 6 with 2.75 blue horizontal sashing and 4 inch blue vertical sashing. There is a 7 inch grey stripe with blue dot border. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. Thick cotton batting and a pieced reverse using a striped print and the border print. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand on 2 sides and an applied binding on the other 2 sides. It is in good condition with minor discolorations. It is a tag pinned on the reverse that this was made by Lavina Wasserman and her daughters Rose and Florence about 1910 to 1915.
