Description
Antique c1900 Velvet Crazy Quilt Top measuring 80 by 83 inches. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 16 by 16 inches, set straight, 5 by 5. It is hand pieced and hand embroidered. Wonderful fabrics in a variety of colors. Each seam is hand embroidered in a variety of colors in pearl cotton thread in Turkey track stitches. You can see the plaid and stripe fabrics the quilt maker used as a foundation on the reverse. It is just a top, with no batting, backing, quilting, or edging. It is in good condition with minor pile loss to a few velvets. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
