Description
Antique c1850 Flying Geese Quilt measuring 85×87″. it is comprised of 6 verticle rows of pieced geese, 9.5″ wide, with 3.5″ wide pink ribbon print alternating bars. There is a pink ribbon print border 4″ wide, with mitered corners. The pink ribbon print is specialty cut so the ribbon print is centered in the piecing. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, applied by hand. It is in fair condition with overall toning, small spots, and a consistent brown solid fabric is deteriorating in approximately 11 geese. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
