Description
Vintage c1940 Triple Irish Chain Quilt Top, finished later. It measures 91 by 91 inches. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 12.5 by 12.5 inches, set straight, 5 by 5, with 13 checkerboard blocks and 12 alternating with appliqued pieced square corners. There is a 3 inch white frame with purple cornerstones followed by a 5.5 inch pieced on point square frame, followed by a 6 inch double outer border of solid white and purple and 4 patch cornerstones. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is a thin polyester batting and a lavender solid reverse the edge is finished with an applied floral print fabric binding. It is in good condition with just a few discolorations. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
