Description
Antique c1860 Sunburst Quilt measuring 68 by 65 inches. Comprised of 16 blocks, 16 by 16 inches, set straight, 4 by 4, with a 1.75 inch half square triangle border along 3 sides in Turkey red and yellow prints. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by hand. It is in fair condition with overall toning, small spots, and this may have been cut down from a larger quilt. Still a very graphic piece with a nice Turkey red fabric, intact, and a manageable size for display purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
