Description
Antique c1890 Rolling Stone Quilt with a Bars Back, most likely from PA. It measures 67 by 67 inches. It is comprised of 16 blocks, 11 by 11 inches, set straight, 4 by 4, with 3 inch madder print sashing and over dyed green cornerstones. There is a 2.5 inch over dyed green print inner border and a 3.5″ madder print outer border. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a strippy bars back reverse using a mourning print stripe and a neon geometric print. The edge is finished with an over dyed green print applied binding. It is in good condition with just a few small spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
