Description
Antique c1880 Monkey Wrench Quilt believed to be from CT. It measures 80 by 81 inches. It is comprised of 47 blocks, about 9 by 9 inches, set straight, 7 by 7, with the bottom corner blocks omitted to accommodate for a post bed. There is a 2 inch blue and white striped sashing and border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a pink shirting print reverse. The edge is finished with an applied binding of a black mourning print. It is in fair condition with small spots, storage line discoloration down the center, toning, and a few seams need to be re-stitched. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
