Description
Antique c1890 Victorian Crazy Quilt measures 62″x80″. The center is compiled with a variety of fabrics, silks, satins, brocade, velvet, and more in a a variety of shapes and sizes. A true crazy quilt. There is a 4″ red silk pleated border. It is hand pieced, hand painted, hand appliqued, and hand embroidered. The initials GM are embroidered in the center. There is a lovely photo silk image of a young girl. Every fabric is embroidered with barricaded yellow pearl cotton in turkey track stitches. The back is a red silk. It is in good condition with a few small spots, some wear to the border, and minor fabric deterioration in 3 fabrics. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
