Description
Antique c1910 Scherenschnitte Quilt in red and white measuring 80″x83″. The red double hearts motifs are actually not block arranged, but two solid pieces of red fabric with only a seam down the center. It is machine pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. There is a medium loft cotton batting and a a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied red fabric border by machine. It is in fair condition with a few small spots and fading in one area. The unique construction will blow your mind. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
