Description
This group includes a Patchwork and quilt runner, 13×46, but also has a narrow sleeve for hanging. A black wool felt mat with hand appliqued autumn leaves and sunflowers, 17.5×24″. And a vintage hand crocheted off white table cover 70″ in diameter. All in good to very good condition. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer, quilt store co-owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
