Description
Antique c1920 Tulip Basket Quilt measuring 83 by 84 inches. Comprised of 16 blocks, 16 by 16 inches. Set straight 4 x 4. With 2.5 inch off white sashing and 5.5 inch border. It is machine pieced, hand and machine appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white muslin reverse. Edge is finished knife edge style by hand. It is in fair condition with several small spots, the orange fabric is bleeding, the green fabric is fading in the stems, and quilting lines in pencil are evident. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
