Description
Antique c1890 Princess Feather Quilt measuring 77 by 77 inches. It is comprised of 4 blocks, 34 by 34 inches, set straight, 2 x 2, with a 2.5 inch red inner border and a 2.5 inch off white outer border. It is hand and machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in good condition with overall toning, spots, age and storage discoloration. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
