Description
Antique c1920 Art Deco Star Quilt measures 69 by 69 inches. The star center has a diameter of 49 inches, with an Art Deco fan border 8.5 inches wide colors are red, yellow, green, and white solid fabrics. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse the edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in good condition with a few small spots and discolorations. A very unusual and unique star design. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author.
