Description
Antique c1880 Bear Paw Quilt with a red and yellow print Bars Back. It measures 50 by 52 inches. It is comprised of 4 blocks, 14 by 14 inches, set straight, 2 x 2, with 3 inch green print sashing and red cornerstone, 2.5 inch yellow print inner border, and 6.5 inch red print outer border. It is machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a Pennsylvania bars back reverse in red and yellow prints. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back, and applied by hand. It is in fair condition with overall toning, discolorations, and spots.
