Description
Antique c1890 Mosaic Medallion Quilt measuring 79 x 91 inches. Comprised entirely of 1.5 inch hexagons with fabric placement creating the Center Medallion concentric rosette design. There is a 5.5 inch triple border of pink print, blue print, and pink print. It is hand and machine pieced, hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a brown print reverse. The edge is finished with an applied green print fabric binding. It is in good condition with a couple spots, several small repairs, and minor wear by an edge.
