Description
2 Antique 19th Century Pink and Green Quilts. Both are in AS IS condition. Includes a c1870 Odd Fellows Quilt measuring 70 x 70 inches.. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 10.5×10.5 inches, set on point and staggered, 4 by 4, with 2.5 inch double pink print sashing, and partial block setting triangles. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished in a pink print binding, by hand. It is in poor condition with overall edge wear, spots, toning, period repair, and other small holes, and areas of wear. Along with a c1870 Framed Square variation quilt measuring 87 by 81 inches. Comprised of 64 blocks, 8 by 8 inches, set straight, 9 by 8, with 2 inch double pink print stashing. There are corner cut outs along the bottom for a 4 post bed. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is medium loft cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with and applied pink print binding. It is in poor condition with overall edge wear, fading, splits in the reverse, and large spots. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
