Description
Antique c1880 Ohio Star Quilt measuring 76 x 78 inches. It is comprised of 36 Ohio Star blocks, 8.5 x 8.5 inches, set on point, 6 by 6, with double pink print alternating squares and setting triangles. There is a 5.5 inch madder red print border. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a brown print reverse. The edge is finished with a green print applied binding. It is in good condition with a few small spots and a repair in the border. Color combination indicates the quilt may have been made in Pennsylvania. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
