Description
Pair of 1940s Dresden Plate Quilts, each measuring 63×95 inches. Comprised of 15 blocks, 16 by 16 inches, set straight, 3 by 5, with a 2.5 inch inner peach border and a 5.5 inch ice cream cone border. The ground is a soft pale green and while the blades in the Dresden plate are scrappy, there is a consistent use of the solid peach in each block. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is a green print reverse and thin cotton batting. The edge is finished with and applied peach bias binding. The pair are in good condition, with several small spots, and minor edge wear to the binding. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
