Description
2 Vintage quilts includes an 84×92″ c1880s Grandmother’s Pride Quilt Top with 20th century pink print borders, and a newer reverse. It is hand and machine pieced. I believe a blanket was uses as batting, because it is very heavy. It is hand tied with red Perl cotton instead of quilted. It is in fair condition with several spots, fading, and a small hole. Along with a c1950s Puzzle Quilt measuring 64 x 81 inches. Comprised of 30 blocks, 13 x 13 inches, set straight, 5 by 6, with 2 inch pink border along the top and bottom. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Medium loft cotton batting and a solid pink reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, applied by hand. In good condition with a few small spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $35 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
