Large Group of 19th Century Quilt Blocks. The group includes a large amount of antique 19th century quilt blocks. Featuring a wide array of blocks and fabrics such as neons, mourning prints, shirting, cheddars, double pinks, plaids, indigos, clarets, and more. Several of the blocks have been featured in books co-authored by Bobbi Aug. They range in size from 5.5” x 6” to 10.5” x 10.5” and range from good to fair condition. Please see the photos for sizing, details, and condition. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
