Group of 6 Mini Doll Quilts c1980-2001. The group includes 6 doll quilts from the collection of Bobbie Aug. It includes 1 small doll quilt made by Caroline Peterson featuring a country black bird theme in a mix of printed cottons. It is machine pieced and finished and has poly batting. It measures 8.5” x 16” and has a pocket for hanging. It is in good condition. 1 whole cloth white work quilt made by Brenda White, May 1993 , Pittsburgh PA. Featuring center and corner floral motifs with a hanging grid ground. It measures 15 3/4” x 18” and is signed by Bobbie Aug. In good condition. 1 small doll sized Log Cabin quilt featuring many multicolored printed cottons. It was made by Janelle Lemkin, Denver Colorade, 08/2001. It is machine pieced and quilted with a thin cotton batting. It measures 10” x 13” and is in good condition. 1 small doll quilt featuring a grid pattern of red cotton prints and hearts with a red ginham border. It is hand quilted and machine-pieced. It measures 15” x 18 3/4” long and is in good condition. It is also signed by Bobboe Aug. 1 small doll quilt made by Caroline Peterson c1990. It features a double 4 patch pattern in shades of white, mustard, and teal. It is hand pieced and hand quilted with a thin cotton batting. As well as a floral cotton back with an attached sleeve for hanging. It measures 13 3/4” x 16” and is in good condition, it is also signed by Bobbie Aug. 1 stamped Log Cabin doll quilt made by Bobbie Aug in Colorado Springs, CO 1984. It is hand pieced and hand quilted with a thin poly batting and has a sleeve for hanging. It measures 12.5” x 15 1/4” and is in good condition. From the estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
