2 Vintage c1940s Quilt Tops includes an Ohio Star top, measures 68 x 101 inches. It is hand and machine pieced. It is in fair condition with several spots, discolorations, split seam, and one fabric is torn. The edges are finished by machine on this piece. Along with an Endless Chain quilt top measuring 75 x 91 inches. It is hand and machine pieced. It is in good condition with a few small spots. Both textiles are just quilt tops with no backing batting or quilting. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
