Antique c1920 Strippy Quilt Top measuring 69×84″. Over 40 strips of fabric are machine pieced. It is in good condition with a few small spots. It is just quilt top with no batting, backing, or quilting. This quilt top can be found on page 187 of “Vintage Quilts” co-authored by Bobbie Aug. It is From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
