2 19th Century Quilt Tops includes a c1890 Log Cabin quilt top in a Barn Raising arrangement measuring 59 x 80 inches. It is machine pieced. And in good condition with just a few small spots. Fabrics include neons, indigos, double blue, brown varieties, Garibaldi red, shirtings, and much more. Along with a c1870 9 Patch in pink square set on point quilt top, measuring 82 x 84 inches. It is hand pieced. It is in good condition with a few small spots. Fabrics include over dyed green, Turkey red prints, quercitron yellow, chintz, Prussian blue, and many more older prints from the era, a wonderful fabric library. Both textiles are just quilt tops with no batting, backing, or quilting. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
