Crazy Quilt made out of vintage linens. The linens are from 1920-1950, this was probably made c1990. It measures 34×60. The linens are hand embroidered with flowers, butterflies, baskets, fruit, and more. They are machine appliqued to the pink backing/foundation. Rickrack and lace have been applied to many seams, by machine. There is no batting, but the edges are finished with a pink solid applied binding, by machine. It is in good condition. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
