Description
Vintage c1940 Double Wedding Ring in Solid pink, yellow, and blue. It measures 78×90″. Comprised of 30 interlocking rings, 21″ in diameter, set straight, 5 by 6. it is had pieced and hand quilted. This cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied pink binding. It is in poor condition with overall edge wear and the pink is wearing in the quilt, as well. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
