Group of Self Assembled Fabric Swatch and Textile Inspiration Books/Pages. The group includes self assembled fabric swatch/textile inspiration books featuring 1 book from c1930 filled with approximately 254 silk, velvet, and textured fabric swatches from the 1900’s. a vintage black folder c1950 with 10 interesting spirograph designs in multiple colors, 1 vintage c1962 Russian front and back book cover with red, black , and white designs, a folder with a hand painted color chart and 5 pages covered front and back with self assembled fabric swatches in a mix of silks and velvets. The group is in good/fair condition with wear and tear to the c1930 album, spotting to the Russian cover, some toning to the spirograph drawings, and yellowed tape on the self assembled pages. This textile swatch collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
