Antique 19th Century Textile Swatch Book -Jacquards and Brocades from the 1890s era with Lyon Jacquards . Antique textile swatchbook is self- assembled fabric sample book features approximately 460 antique Victorian silk brocades and jacquards in an array of colors and patterns. The book is in fair condition with yellowed pages and a binding made of tape. The samples are in good condition with some showing signs of aging. This fabric sample collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
