Description
Antique 1846 Woven Figured and Fancy Coverlet, unsigned, in indigo blue and off white. It measures 76×88″. Double weave. Features star and wreaths of flowers repeated motif, and a border along 2 sides with flower baskets, and along the border tulip and leaf motifs. There are eagles in the bottom corners with the date 1846. There is fringe along the bottom edge only, and a hand sewn seam down the center. It is in overall good condition with a few small spots, toning on the lighter side, and a small tear along an edge. From a NY Collector. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
