Description
Early American antique wool blanket, hand woven, cream color with red plaid grid measuring 70×85 inches. Each square is hand embroidered in red and blue wool crewel like embroidery with quadruple hearts and flowers. There is fringe along one side. The seam down the center is sewn by hand. It is in fair condition with some small holes, fringe loss, edge wear, and some embroidery loss. These are very rare textiles! From a New York Collector. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
