Description
Group includes a small book of 40 fabric samples, based on the fugitive purple, I am estimating the book c1860-1870. It measures 4×7″, and the front cover is detached. Also included is a shirting piece of fabric with a dog profile, several swatches of c1870 wool challis pieces, an early toile 14×27″ (age discoloration and splits in fold), 2 blocks with tiny silk squares constructed by English Paper Piecing, and a group of silk diamonds individual, and grouped in three for Tumbling Blocks, also EPP with paper still inside. There are lots of black silk solids in addition to brocades and other silks, several hand embroidered.
Condition report:
In fair condition with storage discoloration, and splits, spots, and other imperfections. Please refer to photos for condition details. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
