Description
Antique c1890 On Point 16 Patch Quilt measuring 72 by 77 inches. It is comprised of 41 16 patch blocks, 8.5 by 8.5 inches, set on point and staggered, 5 by 9. There is a 2.5 inch double pink sashing, partial block setting triangles, and double pink corner triangles. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a tiny flower and spring on orange and tiny grid motif reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, applied by machine.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with several spots and discolorations including a large moisture mark in the center, and minor fabric deterioration along an edge. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
