Description
Group of 130 Vintage 20th Century Quilt Blocks – Grandmother’s Flower Garden. There are a little over 100 quilt blocks with the Grandmother’s Flower Garden pattern. There are 21 small ones which can fit in the palm of a hand, 26 with a pink border, 24 with a white or green border, and 30 with borders of different patterns. Included is also 1 large scrap Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt block which may have been part of a larger piece. These feature feedsack materials from the 1930s to the 1950s with florals, conversational, stripes, solids, and other patterns. Toning, spots, rips, and fading can be seen. Included as well are 26 square in a square quilt block variations. There are triangles made from different patterned fabrics with stripes, ethnic designs, plaids, polka dots, florals, and more from the 1940s to the 1960s. There is some toning present.
