Symmetrical mola panel featuring a central botanical composition of radiating pointed leaf forms arranged around a vertical axis, with two open tulip- or cup-shaped blossoms at the upper register, executed in three layers of red, charcoal, and orange cotton, with additional appliqué and hand embroidery in lime, blue, pink, magenta, yellow, and white. Each leaf is densely filled with fine chevron and wave-pattern embroidery in contrasting colors, creating a richly textured surface throughout. Vertical reverse-appliqué slits in varied tones punctuate the red ground between the leaf forms. Dense hand-stitching throughout, with strong bilateral symmetry and a fully filled composition.
